Tropical Territory – new blog, new images

My Territory blog posts have been fairly popular and I’ve been intrigued by some of the 365 days of photography series. Michelle Goodrun from The Turning of Generations has started a new blog called Shutterbug Generations which inspired me to open a new blog for my photos of life and scenes around the Top End. It will be separate from this blog so people can choose to follow or not.

I’ve called it Tropical Territory and it will be photos with only a short caption (if any) on each. Mostly they’ll be photos I’ve taken on that day or the day before but if for some reason that comes unstuck I may sneak in some older ones I’ve taken. I’ll tweet my posts but won’t humbug people on Google+ with them. We’ll see how it goes. (You can see how focused I’ve been so far this year. But to be fair I’ve edited some 40 pages of my draft family history).

  1. Enjoyed the photos, and will continue my vicarious traveling on your side of the planet via your photos and blog.
BTW you seem very focused, whilst I am still trying to shovel off my desk so I can get back to work.

  2. Hi Pauleen, I’ve looked at your Tropical Territory Blog, but I am wondering how to subscribe to it. All your family history posts come direct to my inbox, but there doesn’t seem to be a subscribe button on this page. I’m enjoying your photos and comments about the territory – David had another go today at talking me into moving there, not sure how serious he was – one of his darwin cousins was here at the time.
Anyway, let me know how to get to this blog regularly please.

    1. hi Robyn, Good to hear from you…sorry not to have emailed. Nah, wait there (in Qld), we’ll be in SEQ before you know it. I’ve obviously omitted to add a feed to this blog. I’ll have to remedy that. Alternatively you can add it in Google Reader (Where I have more blogs that I can shake a stick at!). Will look into it…I lost momentum with a spur-of-the-moment trip to Brisbane. Talk soon.
