A to Z Challenge guest post

I wrote a while ago that I planned to turn my A to Z challenge series into a book using Blurb’s blog to book process. Following on that I was invited to write a guest post on the topic for the A to Z challenge blog. That post has been published today and as some of my readers expressed an interest in the process, I thought I’d add the link here.

I’m pleased to report that I did finish the photo editing and submit the file (beware, a large file like this one takes an age to work through all the steps).

On my return from interstate the book was waiting for me and I have to say I’m very happy with the quality of it even though I missed a few editorial issues. Nevertheless it should make a good “heirloom” (I hope!) for the grandchildren.

  1. I’m sure your grandchildren will love it… and will be grateful for all the effort you’ve put into this to ensure that they know from whence they came.

  2. Congratulations – a very impressive project and a great heirloom to pass down to your grandchildren. It has got me thinking about what I could do, particularly with the Personal Genealogy/Sharing Memories postings, so thank you for the inspiration.

    1. Go for it Susan. I think it’s perfect for the personal memories, shared memories and Advent series. Brings it all into one place and a great heirloom for the descendants. You can even put a dedication on the inside page …make them feel guilty if they think of throwing it out 🙂

    1. Sheryl, I think your series would lend itself perfectly to this concept. Mind you much depends on how many copies you want. It’s expensive if you want to order a few and may then be better to do as a limited print run, self published. Worth considering anyway.

  3. Someone contacted me from the A to Z challenge but their comment disappeared in the Spam -saw it as it whizzed past my eyes. Sorry! Please do comment again if you have time.
